Chair of Governors- Darrien Bold

Governors have the responsibility for the strategic management of the school within the framework set by national legislation and by the policies of the Local Authority. The governing body has representation on it from the Local Authority, community, parents, teaching staff and support staff. The governors oversee the management of the school building, the curriculum, the staff and their wellbeing, and primarily the education of the children within it. Meetings of the Full Governing Body are held monthly.
Owing to the unique relationship and shared usage of the school site with Springfield Special School, representatives of both governing bodies meet regularly as a Co-location Group to discuss issues that affect both schools.
